Year 11 Program
The first year of the Sport Development Program (SDP) at KTTC combines a well-rounded understanding of the fields of sport and outdoor recreation through various certificates, industry experience and a paid traineeship.
About the Program
The Sport Development Program operates Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 3:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The weekly timetable combines practical, off-site coaching experience with classroom-based learning, including the Certificate II Outdoor Recreation, Certificate III Fitness and core academic subjects.
The Year 11 class will have their own teacher, employed by ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµapp, to oversee all aspects of the students' learning journey, including program deliverables, fostering ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµapp culture and supervision.

Officiating
Paid Traineeship
This aspect of the program will provide unparalleled hands-on experience in implementing knowledge and developing skills. The paid traineeship (approx $200/fortnight) will involve blocks in various state schools and provide the student with paid income.
Uniform
The Sport Development Program uniform is required to be worn every day. A uniform kit, including polo shirts and a cap, is included in the fees and will be provided to students on orientation day. A fitting will be required in Term 4. The polo shirts are to be worn with ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµapp sport shorts. Students are to wear runners.
